Job DescriptionJob Description The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Planning department analyzing customer and inventory demand while establishing metrics and best practices for an evolving Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Materials Resource Planning (MRP) environment.
The Demand Planning Manager is the integration point between Sales and Operations leading dialogue for the execution of respective plant production versus sales forecasts.
Responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining the demand planning tools necessary in determining raw material, packaging, and finished good inventory levels.
Create and maintain forecast models incorporating business intelligence and forecast information from Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and evaluate forecast accuracy.
Interact cross functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations to coordinate and develop product forecasts.
Drive continuous improvement in sales analyses, forecasting processes and accuracy to positively impact inventory positions, sales, and margin.
Further develop Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings reviewing forecast and production plan accuracy, managing finished goods inventory levels, and providing actionable data points and metrics to adjust plans accordingly.
Develops and implements MRP and planning tools in ERP system working cross functionally with Sales, Operations, and IT departments.
Works with Operations to strategically plan production based on best practices of maximizing run rates, campaign sizes, and other strategic initiatives to maximize production capacity.
Develop and lead analysis using advanced analytics and data driven processes.
Lead and provide direction to the Production Schedulers by setting goals, KPIs, execution to the production plan, and development in the ERP system.
Bachelor's degree and 5
years of demand planning experience required, or equivalent combination of education or experience.
Individual must have a strong analytical background.
Must have ability to coach/mentor others, along with a change management style.
Strong PC skills (including Microsoft Excel, ERP experience) is required, Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
Experience in Food Manufacturing or other Process Industries is highly preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
